Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Irene-Wakonda School District is committed to starting the 2020 – 2021 school year with the safety of students and staff as our highest priority. The Irene-Wakonda School District was informed late yesterday that there was the possibility of several staff members being considered a close contact to a positive COVID-19 case and that the arrival date of our electrostatic sanitizing machines utilized to sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and etc.has been moved to late next week. Due to this information and to keep with our commitment to everyone’s overall safety, the school start date will be moved to Monday, August 24th. The Open House will be moved to Thursday, August 20th from 5:00 – 6:30. Thanks for your flexibility and patience as we continue to prepare for a great school year.
