The Irene-Wakonda School District has an opening for a Special Education Teacher (Grades 7-9 or Grades 10-12) for the 2024 – 2025 school year. The Irene-Wakonda JH/HS is located in Irene, SD. The current enrollment for 7 – 12 grades is 135 students. The school prides itself with a great school climate and a tenured staff. The school follows a 4-day school week Monday – Thursday with 20 Eagle Fridays (student help days) from 8:00 – 12:00. Please include a cover letter, 2 letters of reference, and teacher certificate with the application.
