Also, at the November School Board meeting, the Irene-Wakonda School Board approved another modification to the “Start To School” plan with a change to the 14-day quarantine recommendation for students that are deemed a HOUSEHOLD close contact to a positive COVID case. The new quarantine recommendation for a student deemed a HOUSEHOLD close contact to a positive COVID case will be a 7-day quarantine as long as the student is asymptomatic after the 7-days and follows all District protocols. The updated recommendation is attached.
Just a reminder and also asking your help, the Irene-Wakonda School District is in Level 2 which requires masks to be worn by everyone when entering any District building. This also applies to all home athletic/fine art events. Thank you for helping keep our student-athletes safe and allowing them the opportunity for a successful season.
