  • Apr 06 The javelin competition will be starting an hour earlier. Track athletes will be leaving at 8:30 instead of 9:30 on Tuesday, April 8th.

  • Mar 28 The track meet in Centerville on Monday has been canceled. The HS will have track practice on Monday after school. The JH will still have a JH meet in Yankton on Monday.
  • Mar 25 The track meet on Thursday, March 27th will begin at 10:00am. The bus will leave at 8:30am. The kids are responsible for getting makeup slips before leaving. No makeup slip, No track meet.
  • Mar 25 Attention!! If your child is attending After Prom you need to sign the waiver for Skyzone. If your child doesn’t have a waiver, they will not be able to jump. Please go to the school website to sign the waiver.
  • Mar 18 Reminder: There will be a track parent meeting tonight at 6:15 in the old gym.
  • Mar 12 There will be a meeting for parents of students who are out for track. The meeting will be held at 6:15 on Tuesday, March 18 in the old gym in Irene.
  • Mar 07 Good morning. Track practice has been canceled for this morning.
  • Mar 06 We will make a decision by 9:00am tomorrow morning if there will be track practice at 11:30. Thanks.
  • Mar 06 There will be no Eagle Friday on Friday, March 7th.
    At this time, the Region 4B Boys Basketball game in Hurley at 7:00 pm is still on.
  • Mar 06 The JH dance for tonight has been postponed until March 20th for grades 7-9. The dance will go from 7:00-9:00pm.
  • Mar 04 School will be dismissing at 1:15 today. No after school activities.
  • Mar 04 Region boys basketball games have been rescheduled for Friday at 7pm at the same 4 locations. Saturdays SoDak qualifying games will be at 2pm.
  • Mar 03 Boys play tomorrow (3/4) in Hurley vs VH @ 6pm.

  • Feb 19 The doubleheader against B-E will be played on Friday starting at 4:00 with the JV girls. JV boys at 5:00, Varsity girls at 6:15 and varsity boys to follow.
  • Feb 18 There will be a 2-hour late start on Wednesday, February 19th.
  • Feb 18 The games scheduled for tonight at Emery have been postponed. No reschedule date has been set. Also, the boys will play at Armour on Saturday at 5:30 vs. Corsica-Stickney in the Great Plains Classic.

  • Feb 11 FCCLA is hosting a chili cook-off tonight at the basketball game. For $5, you get a bowl and spoon and can try any or all the entries and pick your favorite.

  • Jan 29 Basketball games are at Freeman Academy/Marion tomorrow in Freeman. JV games at 5. JV girls is only 2 quarters.
  • Jan 28 Change of plans for tonight's game in Beresford. 4:00 C Boys @ Elem, 5:00 JV Boys @ Elem. 4:00 JV Girls @ HS, 5:00 C Girls @ HS with varsity games to follow.
  • Jan 24 Monday night the Northwestern vs. Mount Marty JV women and men play in Irene at 6:00 and 7:30. Free admission. Come check out some college basketball in Irene.
  • Jan 23 All Girls basketball players, and JV and C boys will leave at 2:45, dismissed after 6th hour. We will pick up student managers in Wakonda at 2:55. Cheerleaders, varsity boys, and stats will leave at 5:00 from Irene.
  • Jan 20 There will be a 2-hour late start on Tuesday, January 21.
  • Jan 19 Reminder: There will be a spring baseball meeting for grades 7-12 students and parents that are interested. The meeting will be in the Irene library at 2:00pm today.

  • Jan 15 There will be “C” games vs. Centerville starting at 4:00pm on Thursday. JV games will be at 5:00pm followed by varsity girls and varsity boys.
  • Jan 14 Since Burke is Hutch’s hometown, we would like everyone to wear orange tonight to support Hutch. Fight Like Hutch!!
  • Jan 13 After prom is looking for people to work concessions on Thursday for the JV, Girls and Boys varsity games. Please help out if you can.
  • Jan 13 If you are coming to the C and JV games in Harrisburg tonight. Enter through the main entrance and the games will be played in the auxiliary gym.
  • Jan 09 Due to sickness and injuries there will be no JV girls game tomorrow. Schedule will be 5:00-JV Boys, 6:15-Var Girls, 7:45-Var Boys in Gayville's main gym.
  • Jan 05 There will be "C" games at Freeman on Tuesday starting at 4:00. Bus will leave at 2:45. On Friday in Gayville, the JV Girls game will only be 2 quarters starting at 5:00.

  • Dec 30 Due to the potential for bad weather tonight, the games are postponed until tomorrow at noon. Both JV games will start at noon vs. Avon. Girls varsity at 1:15 or so and Varsity boys to follow.
  • Dec 21 The basketball games today are at Dakota Christian not Lake Andes. They begin at 2:00pm with JV girls. Thank you.
  • Dec 20 Please remember proper protocol for kids at BB games. Kids should be seated with parents or in the student section. The court is off limits unless participating in a school sponsored activity.
