Reminder: It's starting to feel like that time of year when you need to make for sure you are signed up for the different notifiers related to weather and school cancellations.

To sign up for the notifier you need to go to the bottom or the Irene-Wakonda School web page and click on Sign up for Email & Text Alerts.
There is also a spot on the bottom of the web page to download the Irene-Wakonda App on your phone. You will receive notifications through this also.
When we send a notifier out it will also be posted on the main page of the school website above the News section.
We also have a Facebook page that we post on daily. If you search Irene-Wakonda High School you can follow it.

I hope all is going well.  It is October and the start of your seasons are coming quickly.  I wanted to pass on some information on a Pre-Season Prep Camp Opportunity to area athletes.

This would be held on Sundays in November leading up to the start of the season.  Athletes can sign up for any individual Sunday that works or can do all.

The focus of these is to prepare them for the season by getting solid fundamentally based workouts in.  Through these athletes will get a ton of shot reps as well.  We will not be playing any live 5 on 5 play during these sessions..

Dates:  Nov. 2, 9, 16

Location: Cimpl Arena on the Mount Marty University Campus

Time: 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Please pass this information on to any of your athletes that you feel would benefit or be interested.
