The Irene-Wakonda School District will be hosting Kindergarten Screening/Registration on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 8:30am-3:00pm.  A child may be enrolled in Kindergarten if his or her fifth birthday is on or before September 1st, 2019.  South Dakota law requires that every child attend kindergarten prior to beginning first grade.  Screening and registration will take place at the Irene-Wakonda Elementary School.

At the time of registration, the parent/guardian must present a copy of the child's birth certificate.  Before the child is able to enter school, the parent/guardian must also submit a completed SD Certificate of Immunization from the child's doctor.
